How do I join Solved?
Tap Get Solved and fill in one short form. It sets up the student's account and orders their Newton. Places are limited.
How do I ask a question?
Open Solved and get on with your work, writing with your Newton. Solved follows your page as you go. When you get stuck, tap the orb and tell IO, Solved Intelligence, what's wrong. She's already looking at your page, and once she's understood your problem she brings in a Solved tutor. It's that simple.
How do I get connected with my tutor?
As soon as IO has understood your problem, every available Solved tutor is alerted at once, and the first one free joins your session.
How long does it take to get connected to a tutor?
A tutor usually joins within minutes. Wait times depend on how many tutors are free at the time.
What is the Solved Newton, and do I need one?
The Newton is a pen that writes in real ink on Solved's dotted paper and sends every stroke to Solved in real time, as you write it. That's how IO and your tutor see your working. You need one to use Solved, and it costs Rs 10,000.
Which phones and computers work with Solved?
An Android phone with Chrome, or a Mac, PC or Chromebook with Chrome or Edge. iPhone and iPad can't connect to the Newton yet.
How do I talk to my tutor?
By voice, while you both write. You work on your page with your Newton, your tutor writes on theirs, and you see each other's working side by side. There's no camera, ever.
Is my number or information shared with the tutor?
No. Your privacy matters to you and to us, so your number and personal information are never shared with your tutor.
How do I pay for my subscription?
Solved is Rs 10,000 a month, plus the Newton, Rs 10,000 once. Pay both by bank transfer, or the month by bank transfer and the Newton in cash when it arrives. Send us the transfer screenshot on WhatsApp. Your month starts the day we switch your account on, once the Newton has arrived. (We're working on more ways to pay.)
When and how can I cancel my subscription?
Any time, by emailing support@solvedpk.com. You can keep using Solved until the end of the month you've paid for.
